How does flyboard rental work?

What is Flyboard?

Flyboarding is a water-based recreational activity that combines elements of water sports and jet propulsion technology. It involves riding a specially designed board that is connected to a watercraft through a hose. The board is equipped with jet nozzles that expel high-powered streams of water, allowing the rider to fly above the water's surface or perform various maneuvers.

The concept of flyboarding was invented by a French watercraft rider named Franky Zapata in 2012. The rider stands on the flyboard, which is attached to the watercraft's jet propulsion system. By controlling the direction and intensity of the water jets through handheld controls, the rider can control their height and movement. They can hover above the water, dive underwater, perform spins, flips, and other aerial tricks.

Flyboarding requires a degree of balance, coordination, and control, and it can be both thrilling and physically demanding. While it might look challenging, with proper instruction and practice, many people can learn to flyboard and enjoy the experience.

This activity has gained popularity as an extreme water sport and is often found in tourist destinations near bodies of water such as beaches, lakes, and resorts. How much does it cost?

At Flyboard Ibiza we have different prices depending on what you choose. Prices go as low as 35€ for a 15 minute flyboard experience. Please call us to inquire an accurate price estimate as we regulate these depending on the season.​
